About

Missouri Homeschool Alliance began from the desire of the founders to encourage parents to stand up for their own children’s education.

MHA is staffed by a Christian all volunteer board of directors who have a desire to see parents succeed in educating their own children at home without government interference.

The mission of Missouri Homeschool Alliance is to empower parents to direct the education of their own children, to equip parents to educate their children through privately-funded, parent-directed homeschool, and to protect their right to do so without government interference.

Parents

Missouri Homeschool Alliance seeks to equip parents with the resources and skills they need to succeed in educating their children at home.

MHA also recognizes that freedom comes with a cost. Parents have historically been on the front lines, fighting for their freedom to home educate without interference from state or government entities. MHA seeks to empower parents to advocate for themselves at the capitol by providing resources and step by step processes to navigate the legislative process.

Leaders

Missouri Homeschool Alliance partners with leaders in the homeschool community to provide guidance and support. Local leaders in the homeschool community are often on the front lines of defending homeschool freedom or providing much needed mentoring to other homeschoolers. MHA is here to support the leaders in the local communities and help them navigate the demands of leadership.
